Turtle Power!

Last night Russ had to do an appraisal in Provo, about the same time I had visiting teaching visits to make. Being the very nice husband he is, he took our two girls with him and dropped them off with his sister who lives in Spanish Fork while he did his inspection. After his inspection, he picked up the girls from his sisters house. On the way home he got a flat tire. He pulled into a Chevron and commenced changing the tire. The crank was missing to operate the jack, so he used his leatherman- which was a slow process. Anything that takes a long time gets our girls a bit wiggly. Well Whitney let herself out of her carseat and began messing around in the car. When Russ noticed he put her back in her carseat. She excaped again, this time she turned the car engine off- that kind of got Russ upset as he was under the car at the time. He got mad and put her back in her carseat and said something to the effect "If you get out of your carseat one more time I will take a toy away!" He finished changing the tire and looked inside the car and saw that Whitney unlatched her carseat from the car- with the seat still strapped to her, and was crawling aroud the car- like a turtle! She found a way to do what she wanted- and stay in her carseat. Smart kid!
