New Years Eve 2008

For New Years Eve Russ had to chaperone a Youth dance and so we celebrated a little earlier with his folks and had a yummy dinner, Black Bean hambone soup. Did I tell you it was yummy? It was delicious!

We also played Clue. Russ' Mom even played which was surprising because she really hasn't been feeling well lately. It was a really fun evening.

Russ had to be to the dance at 9 and so lucky me got to celebrate New Years with the kids! I got Logan to bed early and it was time for the girls to have some fun.

We played a lovely game of Hungry Hungry Hippos

and then it was time to pamper ourselves. I used a Satin hands set from Mary Kay. The girls LOVED that!

We then painted our fingernails and toenails. Olivia chose a lovely hot pink.

I didn't get a picture, but Olivia insisted on painting her toenails by herself. Let me just tell you it was a beautiful mess. It looked like her feet were bleeding hot pink!

I think the girls had a wonderful time! They were in bed and sleeping before midnight. I was in bed before midnight too! It was a great New Years Eve.
