Criminal Minds

Bedtime happens to be a struggle in the Adams household. At times it is a battle of wits. Our girls have a habit of prolonging bedtime by escaping from their room after we have put them to bed. We have to put them back in their beds over and over again. It gets rather tiring. One thing that has been effective were threats that they would get toys taken away for example. Well, we underestimated Whitney's criminal mind. You see, Olivia used to be our little golden child when it came to going to bed. She never gave us any trouble- until the two started sharing rooms. All of the sudden Whitney, who used to be very hard to get to bed was being very good and staying in her bed and Olivia is the one always getting out of bed and coming to our room. It seemed so strange. Well tonight I learned the mystery. You see Whitney doesn't want her toys taken away, but wants her Daddy to come in so, she would send Olivia out of the room so that he would come back in the room and Olivia would get in trouble for it. Yep, pretty sly. Well there is more to her twisted little mind. Tonight after we put them to bed Russ decided to hold the door shut for awhile to keep them from leaving the room. And this is the conversation that was heard through the door... Whitney says, "Olivia, go get Dad." "Okay", says obedient Whitney pawn named Olivia. She tries the door knob and says "It doesn't work Whitney." Whitney says, "I'll try it." and she does and says "It is locked, we will have to yell for him...I know, Olivia you need to bite me." Olivia doesn't bite her- She asks her over and over to bite her. Then finally we hear "WAAAAAHHH!! Olivia bit me!" We hesitated to go in there as we regained our composure from laughing. Russ went in and told Whitney that he heard her ask Olivia to bite her- she was so busted!
So my question is, what do in the world do you do about that? Whitney is so more sneaky and tricky than we thought. If she is doing these sneaky plans at 4 years old- what is she going to be like at 16??? YIKES!!

Looks like you're in for it with Whitney! That's too funny. I love that Livi just goes along with whatever she's told. Such a little sister thing to do. You're girls are cute.
